I have been working in the field of Information Technology for more than twenty-five years and obtained a degree in Computer Science from the University of Bologna in 2004.

I currently work full time as a Senior Security Advisor for Gerico Security srl. I support companies in the implementation, maintenance, and audit of Privacy and Information Security Management Systems in compliance with relevant standards such as the ISO 27000 family of standards. I also help organizations mature their secure software development lifecycle and ensure their products comply with relevant regulations such as the Cyber Resilience Act.

Recently, I obtained the CompTIA SecurityX (formerly CASP+), Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Security Engineer, Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Microsoft Certified Azure AI Engineer Associate, Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator Associate, and Microsoft Certified Azure Developer Associate certifications.

During the previous two years, I worked as an IT consultant as a freelancer.

Previously, for five years, I worked as a Senior Engineer at Wayfair in Berlin, serving as a Software Engineering Tech Lead in the logistics sector. In this role, among other responsibilities, I was in charge of software solution design and architecture and of overseeing the entire Secure Software Development Lifecycle of containerized applications in Google Cloud.
